Learn, Earn, & Burn

Many of us came through the end of last year feeling a little beat up by the economy. We felt like we were moving our business towards our goals to hit a sudden glass ceiling.

This is the six year of owning my own small business and what I have learned to do. . . that I think really helps not only me, but our members is to “Revel in the Frustration” and resolve to Learn, Earn then Burn.

Frustration is a temporary state that usually forces “successful” people to make a breakthrough. Frustration causes successful people seek knowledge they didn’t have before and apply new methodology and strategy to there problems which in turn create new action items. Which in turn creates new results, the process is repeated until desired outcome is achieved!

Make your new year’s resolution to Learn, Earn and Burn from your frustrations.

Learn:

· About your clients and their problems

· About your competition and how you are different

· About best practices in your industry

· About new methodology of measurement

· About new ways to promote yourself and your business

· About how to leave an exceptional impression or deliver a powerful elevator pitch.

· About how to make connections for prospects

· About how to refer your clients to new clients and recommend your strategic partners.

· Learn how to create new win / win relationships

· Learn how to do more with less

· Learn how to be an expert in your space and best of breed as a service provider

Earn:

· More commissions

· More sales

· More clients

· More referrals

· More prospects finding you

· More leads from random people because you are the top of mind in your niche

· More per hour

· More free time

· More wins over your competition

· The right to fire a client

· The right to decline a prospect

· The life you deserve

Burn:

· Self doubt

· Self imposed limiting beliefs

· The limiting perception of yourself or your business

· The idea of what you can afford or what you are capable of earning

· Your competition

· You’re Head Trash

· Your image of your relative saying you are crazy for starting a business

· Your image of your boss who said you don’t have what it takes

· Your image of co-worker you would never make it

· The idea that this economy is dead or our country doesn’t work anymore

· Your doubters

· Your bitchers

· Your trashers and complainers

Burn out all of that negative energy that holds you back and replace it with learning then earning and then repeat.

Frustration can be the most powerful thing in our lives if we get on the cycle of learning then earning and even a little burning.

You too can have the year you have resolved to have, the year you deserve to have.

Be More, Serve More!
